Christmas Concert: Christmas with the Masters

• Grammar Time: 6PM Concert, 5:15PM Student Arrival
• Secondary Time: 8PM Concert; 7PM Student Arrival
• Concert seating: Will begin 30 minutes before the concert.

The overarching purpose of the Providence music program is to train and equip children to understand, appreciate, and love music, which is a gift from our Heavenly Father which communicates and demonstrates His love.

As a classical school, we begin by teaching children the skills necessary for their musical development at the grammar stage (K-6th grade). At the logic stage (7th-8th grade), they learn how those skills work together in a musical context. These skills are then developed and honed at the rhetoric level (9th-12th grade) so as to give an enriched musical experience and develop in students a lifelong love of music.
