Michael has lived in Washington since 2010 and attended one of Providence’s athletic rivals in high school. He came to Providence after earning his master’s in education from Washington State University.

Outside of the classroom, Michael enjoys cooking, playing soccer, discussing theology and history with friends, over-analyzing movies, and spending time with his wife, Mattie and their kids. He attends King’s Cross Church in Kirkland.
