Mattie graduated from Providence in 2010, attended Hillsdale College where she received her degree in English and Classical Education, and returned to Providence as a teacher in 2014. Since then, she has taught fifth grade, sixth grade, secondary classes, directed middle school drama shows, and supported the high school drama productions.

She is married to Michael Worley, and they attend King’s Cross Church.
