After working in church ministry and as a medical receptionist, Katie co-taught kindergarten for four years at Christ Church Academy, a classical Christian school in Kirkland. Katie has a particular passion for phonics-based instruction and early literacy as well as nurturing and training the youngest students in the way of the Lord.

While Katie is a PNW native and happily bought a house next door to her parents. Her husband, Graham, adventured here from England and sports a winsome British accent. Graham and Katie have 4 sons and a daughter and have been Providence parents since 2014. The Reeves are members at Northshore Community Church in Kirkland.

Although Katie would count working with kindergarteners as one of her favorite activities, she also has hobbies outside of the classroom, which include reading, kayaking, walking, and meeting up with friends old and new.
