Kitty has been involved in education for over 35 years in the public schools as a teacher, assistant principal at the junior high and middle school level, and as an elementary principal. Kitty also supervised teachers for SPU and CWU for eight years.
Kitty started at Providence as the Volunteer Coordinator and started the PTF the second year at Providence. She worked as the Grammar School Principal for 10 years.
She thoroughly enjoys how much she learns from the students on a daily basis and loves being surrounded by Christians at work. Her goals in life are two-fold: 1) to draw closer to God through His Word and prayer and 2) to be the wife and mother He would want her to be. Kitty has four adult children, the youngest of whom graduated from Providence. Kitty loves gardening, reading, and biking. Kitty and her husband, Gordon (Providence’s high school soccer coach), attend Trinity Church.
