Debra loves the Lord, design, and children. That equals a blessed day at Providence. After working in the corporate field of Advertising & Graphic Design for over 12 years, she decided to take her knowledge into education after having children. She continued to “freelance” in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Window Display while developing an After School Art Program in the Bellevue School District.

Debra taught art for over 35 years, teaching grammar school art and developing curricula for several classical Christian schools. She currently runs an Art Enrichment Program at the Bellevue Club, where she has been for 14 years. One of her goals is to “silence” any fear in a child, or even an adult, about creating art.

Debra and her husband, Richard, have 2 sons. They have been active in the Covenant Church. They both have a heart for ministry for the “unchurched,” where they have volunteered with several outreach organizations throughout the Seattle area. They love sports, the arts, and travel, and they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
