Cynthia Plante joined Providence from Warwick, Rhode Island. She’s a veteran grammar school teacher, having taught Pre-K through 4th grade at Christian schools in Rhode Island and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Cynthia and her husband, Christopher, have dedicated their lives to serving Christ in whatever capacity that He calls them to serve. They attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and worked in Ethiopia, opening a youth center to serve the youth in Mekelle.
Cynthia and Chris have three children. One is in college in Georgia and two attend Providence. Cynthia and her family love exploring the outdoors and have a soft heart for animals (including a guinea pig, hedgehog, and golden retriever/Labrador/whippet, and Welsh Harlequin ducks). Cynthia also loves to bake, garden, sew, and browse Pinterest for ideas on handmade body scrubs for relaxing!
