After college, Christy spent 10 months in Russia on a mission trip preaching the gospel and handing out free Bibles. It was life-changing to see people so happy to hear the gospel and receive a Bible.
From the time she was in college, Christy helped out with the children’s service at church, teaching all ages from Pre-K to 6th grade. She also teaches summer Bible Camp.
She and her husband, David, have two children attending Providence. She loves spending time with her family, swimming, camping and all things “science!” She is a faithful, fair-weather fan of the Seahawks and Mariners. Christy is thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at Providence and really believes that being a part of shaping the next generation is one of the most important things a person can do with their life.
