Dave Hatcher - Chairman

Mr. Hatcher attended Washington State University where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration.  He also has three years post-graduate work at Greyfriars Hall in Moscow, ID in their pastoral training program.  He was born and raised in the Seattle area and now lives in Snohomish.  Mr. Hatcher and his wife, Kim, have six children, two of whom are Providence graduates. Dave is the Pastor of Trinity Church in Kirkland, Washington.

Jason Alcon - Vice Chairman

Mr. Alcon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  A former United States Marine, he was born and raised in Northern California and now lives in Snohomish, Washington.  Mr. Alcon and his wife Kristen were married in 1998; they have three children, two of whom currently attend Providence.  They are members of Canyon Hills Community Church.  Mr. Alcon works as a Program Manager at Microsoft.  

Chris Butaud - Treasurer

Mr. Butaud has a B.A. in Accounting from Washington State University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.  He was born in Louisiana and raised in the Bellevue area since the sixth grade.  Chris is President and Co-owner of Cleveland Street Mortgage in Redmond.  He and his wife Mary Jean have been married since 1986 and have five children; two graduated from Providence and the others are currently enrolled. The Butauds attend Canyon Hills Community Church in Bothell.

Chris Shaffer - Secretary

Mr. Shaffer has a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University. He grew up in Washington state and attended Bellevue High School. Chris works as a Director of Test at Microsoft and focuses his time on teambuilding and leadership development. In his spare time he plays keyboards for the worship band at his church and facilitates teams through low and high ropes/challenge courses. He and his wife Kristina have been married since 1992 and have two great children, the youngest of whom attends Providence. The Shaffers attend Overlake Christian Church in Redmond.

Ben Marshall

Mr. Marshall earned his BA in Psychology from St. Martin’s College and his MA in Biblical Counseling from the Master’s College.  He was born in Cincinnati, OH, grew up the son of a Navy Chaplain, and currently lives in Lynnwood, Washington. Mr. Marshall has been in full-time ministry for the past 15 years, 11 as an ordained pastor. He and his wife Cory were married in August of 1998; they have five children, the three oldest of whom are attending Providence.  Mr. Marshall currently serves as the Pastor of Counseling at Canyon Hills Community Church in Bothell.  

Merrill Robinson

Mr. Robinson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies and Business from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.  Merrill was born in Winona, Minnesota, raised in Augusta, Georgia, and currently lives in Bothell, Washington.  After attending Vanderbilt and serving in the United States Air Force, he went to work for Eaton Corporation and then Honeywell Corporation, where he hase served for ten years as an Operations Manager and Program Manager.  Mr. Robinson and his wife Courtney were married in 2003; they have two children, their oldest of whom currently attends Providence.  They are members of Canyon Hills Community Church.
