As a discipleship-oriented school, Providence seeks to partner with Christian parents. A student’s education flourishes when both parents and the school share the same goals for an education that places Christ and his Word at the center of all learning.

Financial Aid

 

Financial aid is determined by a third party (FACTS Management Company) and is available to all families who qualify. Families interested in applying for financial aid may submit their application online only (no paper applications) at www.factstuitionaid.com.  

 

How is financial aid calculated?
FACTS Tuition Management Company uses various metrics to assess family needs. Factors include household income, various financial commitments, assets, and number of children. More details can be found on the FACTS website.

 

How do I apply for financial aid?

Applications are online only, and are available at www.factstuitionaid.com. To help keep the process as objective and fair as possible, FACTS also asks for a copy of the latest federal tax return to verify financial numbers.

 

What is the due date for applying for financial aid?

The due date for the financial aid application is March 1. Financial aid awards are generally finalized and communicated to families around the middle of April.  

 

What if I don’t have my tax return ready to submit?

If the tax return for the current year is not yet completed, submit the previous year’s return to FACTS and submit the current year as soon as possible. Financial aid awards will not be finalized and granted until the current tax return has been received by FACTS.

 

How many students are awarded financial aid at Providence?

Approximately 40% of our students receive tuition assistance. Of the Providence families who submitted applications to request financial aid in 2010-2011, 75% were awarded aid.

 

Is there a charge to apply for financial aid?

There is a one-time yearly fee of $25 to apply online to apply for financial aid.

 

Is the information provided to FACTS confidential?
Yes, all the information given to FACTS is used to determine needs and is strictly confidential.

 

What does financial aid cover?

Financial aid applies to tuition, but not fees (e.g. activity fee, enrollment fee, etc.).
