During his high school years, Jeff became aware of the brevity of life and his purpose in it: to glorify God in all things. After graduation, Jeff enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Germany, Italy, and Texas. In between his duties and his travels, Jeff found time for personal research and ministry in local churches. His studies led him to a more Reformed understanding of Scriptures, an understanding which fueled his desire to become more equipped for a life of teaching and ministry.
He enrolled in Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, where he accomplished two objectives: 1) completing his double major in Theology and Biblical Languages and 2) meeting the woman who convinced him to marry her after a week of dating. Six months after their marriage, Jeff and Kristen drove a moving truck filled with all their worldly possessions from Snohomish, WA, to South Hamilton, MA, where the next four years brought them two children (Faith and Jonathan), three apartments in the same building, and two degrees (a Master of Divinity and a Theological Masters).
Jeff and Kristen moved their little family back to Snohomish, where all those degrees helped Jeff get a job driving a delivery truck while the family took a short sabbatical from the academic life. Third baby Kya Juliana arrived shortly before Jeff packed a suitcase and moved to Durham, England, to work on what may someday become a PhD in New Testament. Missing his family, out of money, and tiring of Earl Grey, Jeff returned home to embark on a new life as a teacher rather than a student. Now gainfully employed at Providence, the Glover family (with twins on the way) lives in Snohomish and worships at The Crossroads at Lake Stevens (PCA) where Jeff also serves as the Director of Young Adult Ministries.
