Kitty England graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Secondary Education and soon added an elementary degree to her credentials.  She taught for several years in Spokane and on Mercer Island before earning her Masters in Administration at Eastern Washington University.  She then worked in the Curriculum Department for three years and as a secondary administrator at the junior high and middle school level for five years on Mercer Island.  Next, Kitty served as an elementary principal in the Everett School District for three years until her youngest daughter was born.

It was at this time that God began to reveal new plans for her life, and Kitty became a born-again Christian.  She soon began working part-time at Seattle Pacific University supervising student teachers, and has continued in this role. She has been actively involved at Providence since her daughter transferred here in the sixth grade, serving first as a Volunteer Coordinator and PTF President and then as an interim Principal for half a year before settling into her current role as the Assistant Principal over the Grammar School, a part-time position.

Kitty has been involved in education for over thirty years and thoroughly enjoys how much she learns from the students on a daily basis.  Her goals in life are two-fold: 1) to draw closer to God through His Word and prayer and 2) to be the wife and mother He would want her to be.  Kitty has four children, three of whom are grown.  She and her husband, Gordon, attend Bellewood Presbyterian Church in Bellevue.
