· State of the school evaluation/discussion

· Budget Review/Changes

· Review and change bylaws and policy manual

· Review and revice Board Calendar as necessary

· Review and revise five year goals and budget

· Focus on major goals/actions for the coming year

· Discuss Board participation and required meetings throughout the year 

 September Ensure current school year's policy manual is published
 November Discuss state of the school meeting and any follow up required
 December

Begin discussions on next year's budget, including tuition adjustments 

 January

Schedule date for August Board retreat

Approve preliminary budget for next year:

·       Decide on tuition adjustments for the coming year

·       Preliminary development Goals for the coming year

·       Projected number of students

·       General revenue and expense assumptions

·       Hold state of the school meeting to communicate tuition

 February Solicit nominations for expiring elected board positions

Vetting of nominations/candidates for elected board positions

Review and set school calendar for the coming year

Budget and expenses checkpoint review

 April Send out board ballots to school families no later than April 30th
 May Appoint new board members
