Attendees: Mr. Adair (Chairman) Mr. Loudon (Secretary), Mr. Hatcher, Mr. Castle, Mr. Shaw, Mr. McCoy.   Absent:  None

Meeting called to order by:  Board Chairman, Mr. Adair

Invocation:  Mr. Adair

Minutes:  Previous meeting minutes approved. (4-0-1 via email)

Chairman

Mr. Adair and Board reviewed Superintendent hiring process.  Refined based on lessons learned.

ACTION:  Mr. Hatcher will contact Mr. Smith

ACTION:  Mr. Hatcher will contact Larry Stephenson, Tom Garfield and Matt Whitling for counsel on search process

 

Annual Report submitted for Board review.

ACTION:  Mr. Adair will amend cover letter

ACTION:  Mr. Castle to create summary Profit and Loss statement for 2003-04 report

 

Board Retreat scheduled for 8/28/04 at Mr. Hatcher’s office. 

ACTION:  Mr. Loudon will draft agenda

ACTION:  Mr. Shaw will acquire flip chart and easel for retreat

Superintendent(Acting)

Mr. McCoy submitted 2003-04 year end financial summary

Mr. McCoy submitted report for Board review which included a summer update and 2004-05 goals

Moved that pending no adverse report from Mr. Erb regarding teaching session, Mr. Andrew Jensen be offered the Grammar Music teacher position for the 2004-05 school year.
